Which scrubs can you have custom made?

Custom Uniform Factory makes custom scrubs in every core style in-house, so one factory can cover a whole department: tops, pants, jackets, lab coats, jumpsuits, hoodies, underscrubs and antimicrobial-finish scrubs. Every style can be branded with your logo or made under your own label from about 50 pieces per style.

  • Scrub tops

in V-neck, mock wrap and other necklines, with the pocket layout your team uses.
  • Medical scrub pants

in straight, jogger and wide leg cuts, with drawstring, elastic or yoga-style waistbands.
  • Scrub jackets

for warmth on cold units and between patients.
  • Lab coats

in consultation and full lengths for physicians, pharmacists and lab staff.
  • Scrub jumpsuits

    for a one-piece, fashion-forward look.
  • Scrub hoodies

for break rooms, commutes and non-clinical areas.
  • Underscrubs

, the fitted base layers worn under a scrub top.
  • Antimicrobial scrubs

with fabric finishes that help control odor-causing bacteria on the garment.

Custom medical scrubs: what you can specify

Custom medical scrubs start with five decisions: style and fit, fabric, color, branding and quantity. Settling all five in the first brief lets the factory quote accurately, plan the cutting run and decide whether a sample is needed before production, which keeps the first order on schedule.

  • Style and fit

Choose from existing patterns or send your own design for sampling, so your custom made medical scrubs fit the way your team works.
  • Fabric

Poly-cotton blends for durability and industrial laundering, or polyester-rayon-spandex blends for softness and stretch; our scrub fabric guide compares them.
  • Color

Match a hospital color-coding scheme so patients can tell roles apart, or match your brand.
  • Branding

Embroidered or printed logos, names and titles, plus your own neck labels and hang tags for private label scrubs.
  • Quantity

About 50 pieces per style, which makes small practices and new brands practical customers.

Custom scrub sets that match

Custom scrub sets are a top and pant cut from the same fabric and color so the uniform matches on the floor and from one order to the next. Tops and pants can be produced together as coordinated sets, or a team can mix top and pant styles in one color.

Each style still counts toward its own 50-piece minimum, so a set of one top and one pant is two styles.

Should scrubs with a logo be embroidered or printed?

Scrubs with a logo are usually embroidered, because a small chest logo in thread holds its shape through repeated hot washes. Printing suits large designs, gradients or artwork on the back. Many programs embroider tops and jackets and print only large brand graphics.

Which garments does each role need?

Most hospital and clinic roles need tops and pants as the core, with jackets, lab coats or underscrubs added by role. Physicians and pharmacists add lab coats, cold units add jackets and underscrubs, and schools and brands start with one or two styles.

How does a custom scrub order work?

A custom scrub order runs in six stages: brief, quote, sample, approval, production and reorder. New designs are sampled so fit, pockets and logo placement are checked on a real garment, and patterns and artwork stay on file so reorders match.

  1. 01

    Brief

Styles, fabric preference, colors, branding and an estimated quantity per style.
  2. 02

    Quote

We confirm fabric options, branding method, pricing and current lead times.
  3. 03

    Sample

For a new design or a first order, we sew a sample so you can check fit, pockets and logo placement.
  4. 04

    Approve

You sign off on the sample, the branding proof and the size breakdown.
  5. 05

    Production

Garments are cut, sewn, branded and finished in our Los Angeles factory.
  6. 06

    Reorder

Patterns, colors and artwork stay on file, so the next run matches.

Bulk scrubs for programs and resellers

Bulk scrubs for hospitals, staffing agencies and nursing schools are produced in consistent runs so reorders match earlier batches. Resellers and schools that want plain garments can buy blanks through our wholesale scrubs program, with quantities confirmed on inquiry.

Why order from a Los Angeles factory?

Ordering from a Los Angeles factory means your custom scrubs are cut and sewn by the same team that makes your sample, with no third party in between. Questions go straight to the people making your garments, and reorders are built from the same patterns.

Fabric is imported, so the garments are described as cut and sewn in Los Angeles from imported fabric, not as entirely US-made: the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) textile labeling rules (16 CFR Part 303) require textile labels to state country of origin accurately.

What to send us for a quote

A complete custom scrubs quote needs the garments, fabric, colors, artwork, sizes and quantity per style. Sending the full list in the first message lets us price the order quickly, confirm whether a sample is needed and flag any style that falls short of the minimum.

  • The garments you need and a photo, sketch or tech pack for any custom design
  • Fabric preference, or how the scrubs will be laundered
  • Colors, with Pantone references or a physical swatch if you have a color standard
  • Logo files (vector preferred) and where each logo or name should go
  • An estimated size breakdown and total quantity per style
  • Your target delivery date

Questions about scrubs

Need something not covered here? Ask our Los Angeles team and we’ll answer with options for your order.

Ask our Los Angeles team

What is the minimum order for custom scrubs?

About 50 pieces per style. A style is one garment design, so a clinic could order 50 tops and 50 pants in the same color and run them as a matching set. Sizes can be split across the run; send us your size breakdown with your quote request and we will confirm how it can be divided.

What sizes do your scrubs come in?

Scrub tops and pants are made in sizes XXS to 5XL, in unisex, women's and men's fits depending on the style. Lab coats, jackets and other outer layers are sized per style, and we confirm their size range at quote stage. Send an estimated size breakdown so we can plan the run.

Can each person's scrubs carry their own name?

Yes. A bulk order can carry the same logo on every garment with an individual name and credentials line for each wearer. Send one list with each person's name, credentials and size, spelled exactly as it should be stitched, and check it before you approve the proof.

Can we buy bulk scrubs without branding?

Yes. We supply wholesale blanks in bulk for resellers, schools and uniform programs that want to brand later or wear them plain. Wholesale quantities are confirmed when you send an inquiry, and keeping your specifications on file means later runs match earlier stock. Ask for current fabric and color options when you request a quote.
